Reflexology, otherwise known as zone therapy, is the practice of massaging, squeezing and applying pressure to reflex points on the feet, and sometimes the hands and ears, with the aim of encouraging a beneficial effect on the body as a whole the body to improve general health and address specific conditions.
Reflexology has been shown to be effective for back pain, migraine, infertility, arthritis, sleep disorders, hormonal imbalances, sports injuries, digestive disorders and stress-related conditions (source: Association of Reflexologists).
