Also known as Thermo Auricular Therapy, the use of Hopi Candles is a non-invasive treatment of the ears which is said to be soothing and relaxing and is used to treat a variety of conditions of the ear, nose and throat area, including sinusitis, tinitus and catarrh.
Originating from traditional ceremonies performed by the Native American Hopi Indians, the candles consist of a cotton tube, impregnated with natural ingredients including beeswax and therapeutic oils, which is inserted, painlessly, into the ear. There are certain conditions which cannot be treated with Hopi Candles.
