Medical Herbalism is a sophisticated system which uses plant extracts and herbs to treat a wide range of acute and chronic physical and mental conditions.

Established in 1864, the National Institute of Medical Herbalists is one of the world’s oldest professional bodies representing qualified herbalists.

Medical herbalists treat the individual person – and not just the presenting symptom – and prescribe for their unique health problems.
