Chinese herbalism on the Isle of Wight

Part of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), Chinese herbalism involves the use of remedies – prescribed as formulas containing a number of different herbs, selected from several thousand used by practitioners – to treat patterns of disharmony and influence the flow of ‘chi’ in the body.

In the West it is used most commonly in the treatment of conditions including digestive complaints, respiratory ailments, skin disease and allergies.
