Alexander technique on the Isle of Wight

The Alexander Technique teaches the 'skilful use of the self' in daily activity. It works by re-establishing the natural relationship between the head, neck and back. It can enhance personal performance - from athletic excellence to the poise required for artistic performance and public speaking - address back pain and postural weakness, assist with poise and self-confidence, assist with the physical adaptations which mothers face during pregnancy, etc.
The Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique is the oldest and largest professional society of teachers of the technique.
